(Creative Commons)A committee will be set up to look into a recent study trip to Europe by a group of Joint Staff College (JSC) students that has sparked criticism on social media over alleged misspending of taxpayers' money. He assigned his deputy, Adm Sutthiphan Kritsanakhup, who also oversees the education affairs of the military, to lead the probe into the trip, which took place last year. However, he said the JSC study programme meets international standards and is normally attended by military colonels from the army, the navy and the air force. According to the information posted, two groups of JSC students in the 57th batch made study trips to Europe -- one to Britain and Germany and the other to Norway, Finland and Sweden. As for the second group, the Facebook page posted details it claimed were related to the trip on March 4-17 last year, including flight numbers, hotels, places visited and activities.
